Printing in shaded mode isn't possible. Only printing with hidden lines is possible and works well. A possibility to get a shaded picture is to export the rendered screen to a JPG: VIEW -> RENDER -> Preferences -> Render to file.

Hi dorotea2k,

ZWCAD is not able to plot perspective views, but if you want to plot the 3D object with hidden lines, plese follow these ways:

1. To plot the object in Model space with hidden line, please make sure the option "Hidden Plot" is turned off.

2. In layout space, to plot the drawing with hidden lines, please set the viewport's properties as wiresframe.
Select the viewport> right click to open the Properties palette> set the Shade Plot as Wireframe.

So you confirm me that perspective views (the ones creates with DVIEW command) are not printable?

I have also problems to set the perspective views with DVIEW command.

Normally I follow this steps:

1. in plan view, with ID command, I found camera point and target point coordinates.

2. recall DVIEW command with option POints.

3. insert coordinates

4. set the Distance. but when I type D inside DVIEW command the distance that appera inside <    > is more larger than the real one (between the target and camera points). When I try to change the distance inserting new numbers the program seems to accept it but when I type D again the old number appear again.

5. I set the Zoom (lens angle).

Unfortunately this proceduce, that works well in Autocad, does not work in ZWcad.
When I try also to change the view with 3DORBIT command it become very difficult to control the movements because the distance between target and camera points the center of rotation is very far away.

I would like also to understand how to set the view created in 3DORBIT avoiding the "cutting" of the model that sometime is very strong and reduce very much the visible area.

I am sorry for the many request but I cannot work with this commands.
Best regards

Hi dorotea2k, thank you for your request, any comment can help us to improvement the performance of ZWCAD.

About plot  perspective view, it is not available in ZWCAD, this is a problem and we are going to fix it. The problem ID is 12755. You can get the progress information of this problem by sending us the number.

About other problem you reported in this post, let me summary them one by one.
1. the distance that appera inside <    > is more larger than the real one (between the target and camera points).
2. When I try to change the distance inserting new numbers the program seems to accept it but when I type D again the old number appear again.

These two are problems, and we are testing and trying to solve them.

3. Zoom (lens angle) doesn't work
4. 3DORBIT command it become very difficult to control the movements because the distance between target and camera points the center of rotation is very far away.
5. problem with 3DORBIT :  "cutting" of the model that sometime is very strong and reduce very much the visible area

Could you please explain more in detail, or could you please add some screenshot to show the problem, sorry for the inconvenience.
