Following is some small techniques of using ZWCAD, and it's the seventh item. Hopefully everyone can share their tips to make ZWCAD more easily to use ClapClapClapTongueSmile

31, Sometimes you want to delete the layers which is not applied or exists some entities. In this situation, you can use the Laytrans command to map the layer as 0 layer. Generally, Laytrans command can be used to delete all kinds of layers you want to delete.

32, Text will be displayed as some rectangular frameworks while they are too small. In this situation, you can enter Textdegrade on the command line and set up the value as ON. This variable controls the text appearance.

33, The span of scroll button is too large while using to zoom out / in entities. It affects the operation efficiency. In this situation, you can enter Zoomfactor on the command line and select an appropriate value to control the zooming span

34, While changing the file format saved by ZWCAD automatically as DWG one, it always become as DWG.SV$. In this situation, please take a try in following way: on the Windows Explorer, select Tool – Folders option – View. Then in the page, wipe off the “Hide extensions for known file type” option. After exiting the dialog box, rename the file again and you’ll see the right extension.

35, The ICAD.LSP files shall be loaded manually every time while creating a new DWG file or opening ZWCAD. If you want to load them automatically, you can enter theACADLSPASDOC on the command line and select the value as ON.

Hello Rab,
I think it should be Windows Explorer, not IE. Perhaps a cup of tea... Wink
